The number of houses currently on the market is up 12% from last year.
Sales are Down.
Home sales are down over 33% from this time last year.
Days on Market Is Up.
Properties have been sitting on the market for 20% longer in 2019 to a whopping 139 days. That’s nearly 5 months before going to contract.
List to Sale Price Ratio is Down.
Sellers are getting less of their asking price this year — 6% less to be exact. Last year, the average ratio was 91%, and this year, we’ve stooped to 85%.

All the above statistics are merely showing a side effect of the Greater Sarasota real estate market shifting to a buyer’s market. What does that mean for you?
